In recent seasons, Christoph Altstaedt has increasingly taken on the role of presenter. He has devised and presented new concert formats, as well as New Year’s and New Year’s Eve concerts, in collaboration with the Toronto Symphony, the Ulster Orchestra Belfast, the Staatskapelle Weimar and the Duisburg Philharmonic. For WDR, he produced programmes for the “Werkbetrachtungen” series on Mahler and Dvořák.
